This is the floating hotel in Dubai, an impressive palace located on one of the most exclusive beaches in the city.
Accustomed to the most astonishing records, ranging from the tallest skyscraper in the world
to the largest Ferris wheel to the infinity pool in which to swim the highest, Dubai could not house a simple floating hotel. No.
It had to be a real palace.
The Kempinski hotel chain is the promoter
of this new establishment, called Kempinski Floating Palace, anchored in one of the most exclusive beaches in the
city, Jumeirah Beach Road, and
which consists of a floating building with 156 rooms around which there are 12
luxury villas, which also float on the bay (and can even be moved).

Right in the middle of the celebration of
the Expo that is showing the most innovative technological advances in Dubai, Kempinski has unveiled this new project that hopes
to be a reality in 2023.
In a place where nothing seems impossible, the guests of the new accommodation will access
their rooms at full speed in speedboats. Additionally, a connected floating helipad alongside a harbor with
moorings for up to 16 ships will allow discerning guests to arrive in style,
whether by helicopter or their own yacht.
In addition to accommodation, the main
building of the five-star Kempinski Floating Palace will also house exclusive gourmet restaurants and bars, a
spa, and several swimming pools, boutiques, and areas for all kinds of events.
Villas that also sail
Structured in four parts with a connecting
glass pyramid, the
building is even designed to allow the passage of yachts.
For their part, the villas, connected by
pontoons, have two floors with large panoramic windows, a roof terrace, and an
infinity pool, as well as indoor and outdoor living rooms. Some are reserved for sale and others available for
accommodation through the hotel, the
houses have two, three, or four bedrooms, plus additional accommodation in the
villa for crew and staff.
They are also fully equipped with smart technology and designed to be eco-friendly thanks to
features like solar panels. In addition, they can navigate themselves at a
maximum speed of 6 nautical miles.
