The most beautiful floating hotel in Dubai

This is the floating hotel in Dubai, an impressive palace located on one of the most exclusive beaches in the city.

Accustomed to the most astonishing records, ranging from the tallest skyscraper in the world to the largest Ferris wheel to the infinity pool in which to swim the highest, Dubai could not house a simple floating hotel. No. It had to be a real palace.

The Kempinski hotel chain is the promoter of this new establishment, called Kempinski Floating Palace, anchored in one of the most exclusive beaches in the city, Jumeirah Beach Road, and which consists of a floating building with 156 rooms around which there are 12 luxury villas, which also float on the bay (and can even be moved).

Kempinski Floating Palace

Right in the middle of the celebration of the Expo that is showing the most innovative technological advances in Dubai, Kempinski has unveiled this new project that hopes to be a reality in 2023.

In a place where nothing seems impossible, the guests of the new accommodation will access their rooms at full speed in speedboats. Additionally, a connected floating helipad alongside a harbor with moorings for up to 16 ships will allow discerning guests to arrive in style, whether by helicopter or their own yacht.

In addition to accommodation, the main building of the five-star Kempinski Floating Palace will also house exclusive gourmet restaurants and bars, a spa, and several swimming pools, boutiques, and areas for all kinds of events.

Villas that also sail

Structured in four parts with a connecting glass pyramid, the building is even designed to allow the passage of yachts.

For their part, the villas, connected by pontoons, have two floors with large panoramic windows, a roof terrace, and an infinity pool, as well as indoor and outdoor living rooms. Some are reserved for sale and others available for accommodation through the hotel, the houses have two, three, or four bedrooms, plus additional accommodation in the villa for crew and staff.

They are also fully equipped with smart technology and designed to be eco-friendly thanks to features like solar panels. In addition, they can navigate themselves at a maximum speed of 6 nautical miles.

An exceptional experience

According to its managers, the new Kempinski Floating Palace adds a "special touch" to the hotel world in Dubai, known for a long time for its innovative proposals and for attracting luxury tourism from around the world. This project, they point out, "will be another breakthrough for the country's already spectacular tourism industry."

In fact, the Swiss-based hotel chain already has other unique accommodations in the area, such as the Ski Chalet Alpine at the Mall of the Emirates hotel overlooking the artificial ski slopes of Ski Dubai, and also the Italian-style villas. at Kempinski Hotel and Residences Palm Jumeirah.

"We are delighted to be able to offer our guests in Dubai this first experience that combines the destination's reputation as a high-tech city with the timeless European elegance of Kempinski hotels," said Kempinski CEO Bernold Schroeder. In addition to being innovative, he adds, it will seduce travelers with "its impeccable style and design."

Halfway between the hotel and the tourist attraction, the new space will earn a prominent place also among the floating hotels of the world
